Can I simply keep the vehicle longer without notifying anyone?

No. Unauthorized extension is not permitted and can lead to insurance-related problems and additional costs.

What happens if I return the vehicle too late?

Late returns without prior agreement may result in additional rental days and possibly further costs.

How can I extend my lease?

Please contact us well in advance of the agreed return date. An extension is possible subject to availability and usually requires a new payment or release of the deposit.

Can I return the vehicle outside of opening hours?

This is possible at all stations and does not need to be arranged in advance. Until the official vehicle inspection on the next business day, the risk of further damage lies with the renter.

What happens if new damage is discovered upon return?

New, undocumented damages will be recorded in the return protocol and settled according to the regulations of the rental agreement, terms and conditions and, if applicable, liability reduction.

Do I have to return the vehicle with a full tank?

Generally, yes. If the fuel level deviates from the agreed-upon level, we will charge for the missing amount of fuel plus a service fee according to the current price list.

Where and when do I have to return the vehicle?

You must return the vehicle to the station specified in the rental agreement at the agreed return date. Any alternative return location or return outside of opening hours must be arranged with SEVEN7 in advance.

Can someone else pick up the vehicle for me?

This is possible if this person is listed as the renter or as an additional driver in the rental agreement and can present all the required original documents.

Is the vehicle's condition documented upon handover?

Yes. Together with our team, you will check the vehicle's condition (damage, mileage, fuel level) and record any existing damage in the handover protocol. Please inspect the vehicle carefully.

What documents do I need to present when I pick up the item?

You will need a valid identity card or passport and a valid driver's license for Germany. For company rentals, proof of authorization to represent the company (e.g., power of attorney or commercial register extract) may also be required.
